From the perspective of expressive arts, these works show the children’s ability to observe life, perceive colours, and express emotions and stories through painting. Each piece demonstrates a unique and confident use of colour. The children are not limited by realism—for example, pink backgrounds, blue feathers, and orange skies reveal rich emotional expression and imagination.

Some birds are depicted with closed eyes as if resting or dreaming (similar to Titan and Zoey H.‘s works), while others are nurturing chicks (such as in Henyu’s painting). These poses convey feelings of calmness, gentleness, and protection. Some children painted forests and tree trunks (like Reina and Zoey), while others used solid colour backgrounds to highlight the birds (like Jarolin and Zoey H.).
